Matatu driver receives huge money surprise, becomes emotional
Shiksha Arora teamed up with Shell to astonish Macharia via the Kameivana Na Shell club giveaways, leaving the man grateful for his daughter’s thoughtfulness.
To mark Father's Day, Arora dedicated a day to spend time with Macharia and took the chance to remind him that he became an internet sensation after demonstrating just how exceptional a dad he is to her.
He collected him from his job site, offering to increase his regular daily wage of KSh 1,500 threefold, before taking him to a location where they encountered his daughter, Tracy Wariko.
The three went for an amazing fish and ugali lunch date, with Tracy explaining how her dad and mum helped her to graduate from college.
She revealed that he was previously mugged when depositing funds for his employer, and as a result, he was obligated to cover the cost himself.
The dad and his daughter participated in some go-karting prior to enjoying a ride on the merry-go-round, during which the surprise was unveiled.
During the journey, Arora transferred KSh 85,000 to Macharia’s M-Pesa account, after which he and his daughter began crying out of disbelief at the unexpected blessing they received.
Arora was deeply touched by the moment and found herself crying as she hugged the pair.

Though we say 'I love you,' our way of showing it is through actions, not just words.

Following his commitment to give her KSh 10k as compensation for shutting down her business for a day, they proceeded to enjoy some lunch together. During their meal, Jackie Njenga opened up about enduring the challenging experience of having eight miscarriages.
Following their meal, Jackie had a relaxing day at the spa before heading out for some clothing and grocery shopping.
Finally, she returned home with KSh 59,000 and shed tears as she explained how this sum would transform her life.
