Kenya's Anti-Doping Agency Seeks 95 Professionals

The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) has launched a recruitment drive to strengthen its workforce and ensure better adherence to anti-doping regulations. The initiative includes 95 career opportunities for Kenyan graduates, aiming to fill various critical roles within the agency.

ADAK has outlined the minimum qualifications required for each position, ensuring that only eligible candidates are considered. The deadline for submitting academic and professional documents is set for Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply through the agency’s official recruitment portal. ADAK emphasizes that it is an equal opportunity employer, committed to hiring individuals based on merit and capability.

The agency also highlighted its dedication to fostering a supportive work environment where employees can grow professionally. It stated, “The agency values its employees and endeavours to provide a conducive work environment and support them in developing their skills and capabilities.”

Available Positions

ADAK has advertised several key roles, including:

  1. Doping Control Officers – 35 Positions
    These officers will be responsible for identifying doping control stations and overseeing the collection of samples from athletes.
    Requirements:
  2. A bachelor's degree in physical education, sports management or administration, sports science, or leisure and recreation management.
  3. Proficiency in computer applications.
  4. A bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or a post-graduate diploma in physical education.

  5. Anti-Doping Educators – 20 Positions
    These educators will develop and implement educational programs tailored for athletes, coaches, and support staff.
    Requirements:

  6. A bachelor's degree in physical education, sports management or administration, sports science, or leisure and recreation management.
  7. Proficiency in computer applications.
  8. A bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or a post-graduate diploma in physical education.

  1. Blood Collection Officers – 10 Positions
    These officers will collect blood samples as part of the agency’s anti-doping program, following the World Anti-Doping Code.
    Requirements:
  2. A diploma in medical laboratory science.
  3. Proficiency in computer applications.
  4. At least three years of experience as a phlebotomist.
  5. A valid practising license from the Kenya Medical Labaratory Technicians & Technologists Board (KMLTTB).

  6. Doping Control Chaperones
    These individuals will notify athletes of their selection for doping control, document the process, and ensure the protection of their rights.
    Requirements:

  7. A diploma in social science.
  8. A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) C-.
  9. Proficiency in computer applications.
  10. Ability to communicate in English and Kiswahili (oral and written).

Other Government Agencies Hiring

In addition to ADAK, several other government agencies have also announced job openings. The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is seeking qualified Kenyans to fill managerial positions. Job seekers are invited to register on the KRA’s recruitment portal and apply for available roles.

Meanwhile, the Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced 212 job opportunities across various fields. These include roles such as supply chain management officers, records management officers, accounts officers, office assistants, ICT officers, claims management officers, drivers, and more. The SHA aims to attract professionals who can contribute to the growth and efficiency of the health sector.
