"MTRH is an equal opportunity employer promoting gender, equity, and diversity. Persons Living with Disability (PWDs) and other minority groups are encouraged to apply. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process," Kirwa assured.

Avoiding Unethical Practices
Career development associate Simon Ingari advised job seekers to avoid canvassing, as it could lead to disqualification. Instead, he recommended networking and learning from mentors who have successfully navigated public service recruitment.
"While canvassing is prohibited, you can still seek guidance from mentors or colleagues who have successfully navigated public service recruitment. Learn how they structured their applications, handled interviews, and positioned themselves," Ingari explained.
Additional Opportunities in Other Sectors
In related news, the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has also invited applications from bachelor's degree holders in finance, IT, business administration, and digital forensics. The banking regulator set October and November deadlines for qualified and interested candidates to submit their CVs, cover letters, and other certificates through its recruitment portal. CBK's human resource team listed the requirements that applicants must meet to be shortlisted.
