Career development associate Simon Ingari shared insights into what candidates can expect during the selection process. He emphasized the importance of having all necessary documents ready, including academic and clearance certificates from entities such as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), KRA, Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and the police.
Ingari also highlighted that interviews will focus on general competencies, technical knowledge, and integrity. Candidates should be prepared to answer questions related to their field of expertise, KRA’s mandate, and ethical standards.
“Questions often revolve around technical knowledge, depending on the role. You must understand KRA's mandate. Also expect questions on integrity and governance (ethics, transparency, accountability) and general competencies (leadership, communication and problem-solving),” he said.
